Welcome to Catch Careers!

My name is Christina Kach and I am the author of this blog.I began my young professional career during three internships facilitated by Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. An internship with a Government Defense Company outside Boston my junior year developed into a full time job offer after graduation in 2009. My first two years with the company centered on different job rotations as a participant in their Leadership Development Program. Upon graduating the program in July 2011 I took a full time position on the manufacturing floor as a Continuous Improvement Lead, focusing on process improvement utilizing Lean and Six Sigma principles. From 2004 when I entered college to 2012 as I start this blog, I’ve come a long way from the shy student I was to the motivated career woman I am now. I hope that my insights and experiences will prove beneficial as you navigate the tricky path of a young professional

Education I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering and a Minor in Business Administration from Northeastern University. I am Lean Certified by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. I also hold certifications in OSHA safety and Six Sigma. I am currently pursuing a Master’s Degree at Northeastern University for Engineering Management.
